Liz Cheney interview on Benghazi, Cairo, and President Obama’s failed foreign policy

Liz Cheney of KeepAmericaSafe.comLiz Cheney was my guest yesterday on Freedom Radio.

As part of our discussion of President Barack Obama’s foreign policy, I asked her about the attacks upon our embassies in Benghazi and Cairo. In part, Ms. Cheney said:

“At a minimum, you’ve got to say that it was highly irresponsible — and I would say untruthful — for our ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, to go on television on Sunday morning and assure the American people that “We’re confident everything that’s going on across the region is spontaneous. What happened in Benghazi is a spontaneous reaction to an anti-Islam film.” She could not have known that. … I think the American people deserve to know the whole truth here, and I suspect we will once this investigation is completed.”

Reports by Fox News here, here and here, along with reports by Tom Joscelyn at The Weekly Standard and Bill Roggio at The Long War Journal, show the wheels are fast falling off the Obama administration’s cart, the one carrying water for Islamist propaganda.

Not Going Anywhere In Mint Condition

September 7, 2012
By

It happens all too frequently. When it does, it is painful. Folks regularly question my disability. “You’re not really sick”, “You don’t need that cane”. “Wish I was a sick as you”, “How could a person who is handicapped drive THAT car” (5 speed two seater). “You look great, you’re about as sick as that Ann Romney, I can tell”. “If you are sick, why do you walk such a big dog?”

It begs the questions, “What does cancer look like?” “What does a transplant recipient look like?” “What does MS look like?” “What does epilepsy look like?” “What does loneliness look like?”

Yes, my presence often brings with it inconveniences to others. I can be extremely self-conscious and concerned for how that presence changes peoples experiences. There are people that would prefer you stay hidden. I like to think that they are the way they are because the presence of someone like me reminds them of their own vulnerability. The thought that they or a loved one could be a walking disability time bomb must be quickly dismissed. They must preserve their comfy world view.

They do not want to have to think about such unpleasantries.

Trust me, we do not demand your help, we just don’t want you to make things more difficult.

So please, the next time anyone feels the need to comment on someones appearance, manner or speech, check the man in the mirror. None of us gets out of this life in mint condition.

Yesterday, I interviewed Caucus for America founder Rabbi Aryeh Spero about his new book ‘Push Back; Reclaiming the American Judeo-Christian Spirit’. In part, Rabbi Spero said:

“If you want the America that we inherited to be there for our children, we’re going to have to fight for it. … Without our Judeo-Christian moral philosophy we will not continue to be a successful country to the degree that we were.”

Andrew McCarthy on Huma Abedin and Obama bringing terrorists into the U.S., White House

August 3, 2012
By

Yesterday, I interviewed former federal prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy, starting off with the Obama administration’s latest attempt to sneak terrorists into the United States.

We also discussed the White House having a member of Gama’at al Islamia, a U.S. Treasury terror-designated group in to discuss Egypt’s future, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Egyptian President-elect Mohamed Morsi. Apparently, Barack Obama sees them as statesmen merely engaged in legitimate resistance.

It is time to ask if the President would negotiate peace (or already has) with Ayman al-Zawahiri through Muslim Brother Morsi. No way, you say? Obama refers to the Taliban as the “enemy” yet he has attempted to negotiate with them. Who better to pave the way for talks with al Qaeda than Huma Abedin? During her at least 16-year relationship with Hillary Clinton, Abedin has also worked for a man who raised money for al Qaeda.
