CIA officer Jose Rodriguez oversaw the enhanced interrogations of captured al Qaeda detainees until his retirement in 2007. He served as a station chief four times, to include for all of Latin America, prior to becoming the head of the Counterterrorism Center in May 2002 and, later, Director of the National Clandestine Service. Along with former CIA spokesman Bill Harlow, he co-authored ‘Hard Measures; How Aggressive CIA Actions After 9/11 Saved American Lives’.
Mr. Rodriguez joined me on Freedom Radio to discuss the destruction of much of al Qaeda’s organization. Mr. Rodriguez says, “Enhanced interrogations techniques led to the demise of bin Laden.” In the clip below, he explains how and sets the record straight for CIA Director-nominee John Brennan (and Senators Levin, Feinstein, and McCain) on courier Ahmed al-Kuwaiti. *
Note: Ahmed al-Kuwaiti was also known as Shaykh Abu Ahmed, Arshad Khan, Mohammed Arshad, and Sheikh Abu Ahmed al-Kuwaiti.
